Ride "Um Cowboy...er... Cowgirl Christmas Porch

The theme for the porch this year is "Ride 'Um Cowboy Christmas"

I live in New Mexico.....about 8 miles from the Texas border.
So, I wanted to do our porch with a Tex-NMex flavor!  Come on up on the porch and sit a spell....

Santa is  sitting in a vintage ladder back chair...that is a spring wreath to his left and it is hanging on a old metal shoe repair stand.

Here is my other Santa Chair.....Cowboys always take their boots off at the door....

The horses are all saddled up and ready to ride...  This is our filly....

And this is our pretty little mare...

I made these horses many years ago ...I used to sell them when I did shows.. I sold all the one's that I made, but my mother still had the two that I made for her.  So, I brought them out of the corral and got 'um all decked out for Christmas!  They have lots of bling, pom pom's, ribbon and lace on their saddles ....and they've donned their Christmas hats!

I made a tree from old boots for the front porch...the tree topper is a pink glittery Cowgirl hat....

I didn't count 'um, but there are quite a few boots!  I think around 20.

There is even a boot for the tree stand..

You may recognize these chairs from a post I did earlier in the summer.... they have been redone in pink for the Christmas porch!  I bought them at a  yard sale...$2 each...

And the FREE boots,  are now a Christmas tree!

Our next door neighbor trimmed his tree's,  so H gathered the branches up and I made this big beautiful wreath (and the swag on the front porch)...  .thank you Gary!

This wreath hung over the mirror is a vintage horse collar...

At night, the porch comes to life!  I love the lights...

and the candles...yes, that is a car spring in the boot with a candle in it!

The tree's have Santa heads and poinsettia's on them.

We have chandy's to light the way to the front door,,,,

And a pretty little filly to greet you.  She is riding her trike now, but she loves to ride her pony

Now ya'll come back!
