I needed a tree in the kitchen to hold my Christmas "food" and I thought it would be fun to use a French drying rack. |
Normally she would be in the coffee area of the kitchen covered with cups.... |
I made a ball wreath to hang by the kitchen tree...some of the balls are covered with yarn, others have cupcakes and candy glued to them.. |
I have added some Mark Roberts fairies to the tree. My daughter gave me the chef on the left, and my son and dil gave me the pink one on the right. |
My daughter also gave me this one... |
And she gave me this one when she got married a couple of years ago... |
I have been collecting Christmas " food" 'for a long time... |
a long, long time, |
......... |
a long, long, long time! |
I put the "tree" on an old mail box that sits next to the refrigerator, you have to pass by this area to go almost anywhere in the house. It makes me smile every time I pass by! |
Merry Christmas from the chef! http://knickoftimeinteriors.blogspot.com/2013/07/christmas-in-july-linky-party.html |
