Week end Shopping

H and I had lots of fun this past week end....we relaxed, hit a few yard sales, a couple of antique stores, and did a little clothes shopping.  H hates clothes shopping but I did manage to talk him into a couple of  jeans and a few new shirts. (we won't talk about what all I bought for  We are flying to NY in Aug. to visit family and I want him to look spiffy!

Anyway, here is my loot from the yard sales....

Paris theme picture for $5...

I already have two beautiful brass, this one is going white!

Some see this as a pot without a top....I see it as a beautiful vase.

I think this $2 ceiling light fixture will make a great hanging bird bath....

$1 glittered bunny....

$2 for all three Christmas candle holders....they need some white paint and lots of glitter.

This is the cutest little vintage globe.  I bought it at an antique shop...15% off of $10.

I almost forgot to show you this vintage thingy that H bought...$10 at an estate sale..

it will look great displayed in his workshop!

H already has the Paris theme picture out in the garage getting a makeover.  He is also painting my old picnic basket a fresh new white color.  I am planning a picnic later this week ....what fun!

So H. is familiar with the hot and humid heat we have in the Northeast???
I beleive you have a much drier type of heat in N.M....
It was in the 80's yesterday but the humidity was so high you could cut the air with a knife. Stiffling! I hope the weather will be nicer for your trip to N.Y.!!
