Fall Pumpkin Patch Tree

Although we are a few weeks away from the official start of fall,   I usually get in the fall spirit around the first of September.    I had picked up a neutral tree at a yard sale last weekend and it gave me just the motivation I needed to start my fall decorating.    The fact that  the stores are full of fall decor may have influenced me a little too....lol!

The theme for my fall tree is "Fall Pumpkin Patch"

In the past I have scattered pumpkins all thru the house,  but this year I have opted to put the majority of them in and under my fall tree to make it look like a pumpkin patch.

I also have filled the tree with my ever growing collection of owls.....

I have lots of pink roses in the tree and also some fall sunflowers......

I have tucked some of my floral pumpkins way back at the trunk of the tree......

I have pine cone pumpkins.....

Satin pumpkins.....

I have pink owls......

Acorns.....

Dried sunflowers..................

See how I've tucked pumpkins all thru the tree.....

Cotton boles......

This was such a fun fall tree to decorate!

About the first of October,  I will add some black owls,  black velvet pumpkins and other Halloween decor to my existing fall tree!

I stopped in HL yesterday to pick up a string of replacement lights for the top of  my yard sale  tree and the store was packed with  shoppers.   A few ladies had  more than one cart filled with fall decor.    I guess they were going to take advantage of the long week end to do some fall decorating.    I picked up my ONE string of lights and got out of there.....quick!

  1. Love all your owls. I have a small collection of ceramic birds, as well as feathered ones for my collection of bird cages. Birds build nests in my summer door wreaths each year. I've rescued the nests to use in the birdcages for a natural look. Love & Hugs!

  2. Absolutely charming, as usual, Penny! I love looking in for all the lacy and pink and girlie-girl touches, and you always have a surprise or two, as well.

I just told Chris that the first PINK pumpkin he sees, I want one this year. We seem to wait til almost the end of the season to locate a pink one, and I think they're absolute marvels of nature.
