Valentine Wreath

I made this ruffled heart shaped wreath many many years ago.    It's one of my favorites and I try to use it somewhere in the house as part of my Valentine decor each year.    Last year I had it hanging on the front of the lit cabinet in the family dining room.....this year I have it on the sofa table in the hallway.

I freshened it up a bit this year by removing all the pink silk roses that I had scattered around it.    I added pink rag strips in their place.   I replaced the pink heart at the top of the wreath with a red crystal ornament that I bought in the Christmas clearance isle at At Home a few years ago.

I left the pretty Victorian ladies and the tussie mussie between them.

I decorated the top of my harp table with vintage honey comb Valentine cards.

I always keep an eye open for honey comb cards but so far I've only found 5....not much of a collection so far!.

I just love this type of Valentine card...don't you!

This card is my favorite ......

The pink heart is the one that I took off the top of the wreath and replaced it with a red Christmas ornament.

You can see a sneak peek of my Valentine tree in the hallway if you look close in the corner of the mirror on the right.....can't wait to share it with you in a different post as this one is already pretty long....lol!
