Spring Back Porch

The Bradford Pear tree's that line the drive in our front yard are in full bloom and I couldn't wait to cut some of the blossoms for a pretty bouquet.

I want to share the one I made for the back porch......but,   I actually have bouquets all over the house too...lol!

I created my bouquet for the porch in a silver ice bucket and sat the bucket in a pretty pink garden hose

The Bradford Pear tree's line the circular drive in the front yard and are just gorgeous when they are all in bloom at the same time.    There is one tree that must be a different variety and it blooms a few weeks after all the other have stopped.

H and I spent the day spring cleaning the back porch and yard.....it was sunny,  with a lite breeze and 70 degree's.

I brought some pillows out from the sun room to use on the "breaks"  we enjoy taking pretty often.     It's so relaxing to just sit in the sun.......

I brought out a centerpiece I had in the sunroom and sat it on the mantel for the day.     I tucked in some of my Bradford Pear blooms.......they will be wilted by the end of the day since they aren't in water,  but that's ok.      I'll just take them out before I take the centerpiece back inside later this afternoon.

I have some birdhouses on the mantel that I will leave out......

H and I have been snacking on the Cadbury eggs in my white enamel birdhouse.....

H plans to put fertilizer on the grass tomorrow.    We don't get a lot of rain here in New Mexico so we have an inground sprinkler systems that is programmed to water about 3 times a week,   .We are expecting some rain on Friday,  so between the rain and the spinklers the grass should green up pretty quick.

I have a spring vignette over in the corner of the porch......

I bought some ornimental kale at the garden center that had been marked down to $3 a pot.      I plan to get it planted in the next few days......

I shared the sun room in an earlier post.    Here's a link in case you missed it......http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2020/03/spring-sun-room.html

I always enjoy your visits so much,   please come back again soon!
