Goodness, you're a lucky girl to have such a lovely green house and collection of vintage table cloths. I love to collect vintage table cloths too. We're planning on adding a small conservatory onto our cottage in England this summer. My mum used to make these types of table cloths , white cotton linen and she would embroider all kinds of things on them , ya just don't see these table cloths any more and they aren't used like they were way back either . Dear Penny...I think your vintage tablecloths are lovely..and especially love the light blue glasses on the table. I have to admit I'm not a big fan of colbalt blue glass..and yet I love lighter blues and the royal blue in my blue willow china. I never tire of seeing what new and adorable idea's you come up with..such as using vintage table clothes as chair decor...how sweet they look.

ReplyDeleteThis is one of My favorite posts of all time I think.I might just have to save it on My favorites list.I love all My vintage table cloths and use them all the time. I have a few I have purchased in My fave color lavender.Actually,in the 40s and 50s they really weren't big on lavender table cloths but many blue ones faded out to be lavender.I have all My Mom and both Grandmas tablecloths - all reds and oranges and browns. So enjoyed Your home-Thank You Denise
