| I put her on a shelf in the lit cabinet that is in the small dining room. I pass this cabinet 100's of times during the day and can really enjoy her there. |

ReplyDeleteLove your lady head vases, hadn't seen too many before. I got a few at little second hand store in Bowling Green, KY a few years ago. Still have them, stored out in shed as my display space is pretty short in our 16x80 single wide mobile home. In our house in KY had much more room for displaying my pretties. Almost got rid of lady heads but at last minute just couldn't. When I find the box they're in I'll have to bring some of my goodies in to put on shelves in l/r and on mantel shelf.
ReplyDeleteUsed to have a buffet hutch I'd display things on but no room in this house so sold hutch. Sure wish I hadn't. Also had a home made hoosier I bought in KY that we sold, boy could I kick myself for that. I'd have taken out couple kitchen cupboards to make room for hoosier. Hubs was bugging me to get rid of things before I had time to think. Loved that old hoosier, really miss it. Regrets don't bring things back tho. Love all your goodies.

Hi Penny, I love the lady head vases. I have a dear friend that is a collector and I had the privilege of finding the Jackie Onassis head for her collection some years back. I think they're lovely.

Mine is a wee bit different, but she is younger, too...1962 or 63. See you enjoy your lovely lady makes me anxious to get mine out of storage and use in a vignette.

Amazing that you got her for that price! They sell on eBay for hundreds, sometimes. I have a collection of them, too. My mother used to get them from my father at Valentines day, so I added to her collection and have about a dozen. Love them!
