Recovering Lounge Chair Cushions Made Easy

Do you have any lounge chair cushions that have seen better days?  
 You can easily recover them for very little money by using sheets .    I find good sheets at yard sales all the time for a dollar or two.      I used queen size sheets this time but I have used smaller ones in the past depending on the size of the cushion I am recovering.

All I did to recover my old cushions was make a large pillow case for them.     Easy to make and easy to take off and wash.

I forgot to take a before,   so I used the photo from last summer when the cushions were in the front yard.

I didn't have two sheets that matched,   so I used two that had a similar color and pattern.

When you decorate shabby chic.....everything doesn't have to be matchy matchy!

After I made my big pillow case for the cushions,   I added a tie to the back. to secure it to the chair......

Then I added two ties on the side .....there's no way that thing will blow off now!  
   For my large pillow case,   I just measured the width of the cushion and add a few inches for the seams.    Then I measured the length and added about 12 inches to that .    You can see in the photo how I turned the excess under the top part of the pillow case.     I just ran a large pin thru the tie....thru the pillowcase,,,,,and thru part of the cushion and tied it to the chair.    By doing this,   I can just unpin  the tie and run everything thru the laundry.

I am hoping to find a pretty outdoor rug to put under the tea table.    I think I need some color to break up  all that concrete,  don't you?

The rose bushes are loaded with flowers and I couldn't resist cutting a few to put on the table!
