We live in our sunroom year round! |
I love fans and I have two of them going almost all the time. |
Two of the walls are brick. I still haven't decided if I will paint or do something else with them. For now, I like them the way they are. |
This is a chandy that I fluffed up and hung on a standing birdcage hanger. |
This old armoire that is in the sunroom houses alot of my vintage quilts. The one on display now, belonged to my grandmother. |
A comfy old wicker chair and ottoman. |
I made a shabby flag to hang on the french door over the sofa. And I also made a Zia sun (dream, catcher?) The Zia sun is the New Mexico flag symbol. |
Here is a close up. For those of you that are facebook friends, I did a complete post about the history of the Zia symbol.. Please go over and read it.. very interesting! |
I love decorating with old doors! |
There is always a cat or two asleep in the sunroom! |
View out of the sunroom. It has been so dry here that the grass is really suffering, we need some rain! |
I got my train case painted finally. Now to decorate it!!! |
I have been painting jars..the pink one is a big pickle jar! |

ReplyDeletePenny, you are so right about French doors. I have only one on each side of my Florida room, but it's always been my dream to have that whole room done in French doors. They have such a sweet feel to them. And that armoire of yours is unbelievably beautiful. The curves the glass, the color. I really love that you have a light inside. It sure gives it an added sweetness!

I love this room and your French doors. My husband and I are in the process of buying another home and we want to put French doors in our new bedroom. I only wish he's let me decorate the room like you did your sunroom. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of this room with all the French doors. We did the same to our screened in porch several years ago. Now we enjoy this room year round.
ReplyDeleteSUCH a lovely room ! :)
ReplyDeleteYour sun-room is very chic.
ReplyDeletei love this penny, this is exactly what i'd like to do to the back wall of our garage, then do a little deck off of it for inside/outside covered seating......i've envisioned it looking just like your room...this is so pretty...our walls out there are brick too, and i like your's natural...i think unpainted brick adds to the shabby/vintage appeal...very pretty room you have done, and i love that one photo of the old door and "bless your home" sign and pink wreath, that looks so adorable...:)
ReplyDeleteYour sun room is so beautiful, and love all those french doors - right now having door envy! Your room is so beautiful and I would be sitting out her all year round too! Your cats look very content! Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration with Sunday’s Best – you helped make the party a success!
