Roses, roses, roses!

This is a long post with lots of pictures!  This is our built in cabinet AFTER.

This is the before...ugh!!  There is me on the left in my pj's (football jersey and french print bottoms..what a matching set)   It is very, did I say, VERY, hard to get pictures with this many mirrors without getting a hand or a body in it!

I decided to put anything that had a rose on it in the cabinet. Before we painted it, I had my grandmothers desert rose displayed.

My mother bought me these one year for Christmas..isn't it beautiful..one of my most treasured keepsakes.

This belonged to my mother, she had a very large collection of antiques that she gave me.

This set was my mothers.

Bought this little pot at Roundtop, Tx a couple of years ago.

All of my little fairies have been given to me by my son and daughter.

This was my grandmothers.

Mother bought this bowl when we went to Roundtop together.

Rose ashtrays, no one smokes around here, but I liked them.

Mr. Penny helped me with the painting and also my daughter, Melissa.  Melissa wouldn't let me take a picture of her...something about covered in paint and her hair not done!

We added a plate ledge to the top of the cabinet before we painted it.  I hope you have enjoyed looking at my new cabinet and will leave me a comment!
