Trash or Treasure?

We went to a few yard and estate sales in Lubbock Tx on Friday between Dr. appt.  We have been in Lubbock (it's about 100 miles from where we live) quite a bit over the last few weeks in preparation for Howard's surgery tomorro. Say a little prayer for us?  Anyway, this is the cutest cracker keeper!  It is a Blue Magic Krispy Kan.

The little thingy on top is filled with beads.  You remove it from the lid and heat it in the oven!

Here are the directions on the under side of the lid.  I paid $12 for it at an estate sale.

I found this ad for it on the internet when I looked it up.

I also got these vintage pillow cases at that same estate sale. $1 per pair.

I got this beautiful silver bowl for$3.

We got out for a while on Saturday here in Clovis, not very good sales this week-end. I did find these beautiful plates for .50

And some heart shaped cake pans.

I found this candle holder last week end and forgot to show you! I have 2 of them in the pink bathroom that I got a HL a few years ago (80% off of $60 for the big one)  That's right, 60 dollars for this!!!!!  Is that crazy??  I got this one for $3.....

Isn't it beautiful?  Now I have 2 big ones and 1 medium size.

I got these flower frogs in Lubbock for $2.50 each.  I hope you enjoyed seeing my treasures! I will be joining the following parties!

  8. Looks like you've found some great things! I love the cracker tin... I've seen those before but didn't realize that the knob served another purpose by itself... I wonder... are all the krispy cracker tins like that?

  19. I used to have a similar cracker tin! It had a different design on it, but I'm sure it was made by the same company as yours. It was a gift back sometime in the 1960's, I think.
