| I put a sweet Easter lamb and some vintage plates on the second shelf... |

| And have a bouquet of fresh pink roses on the desk... |

| I have quite a variety of vintage cookbooks behind the roll top I love to collect the cookbooks that the church ladies put out. They are the best cooks!!! ...I have out my Candlelight Cuisine for Romantic Dining cookbook.....one of my favorites... |

| I have plenty of room to the right of my new desk to spread out....books, magazines, tea, plants.... |

| I bought a Shamrock plant the other day at the grocery store...I've never had one before, do they bloom again or just in the spring? |

ReplyDeleteI love your Hoosier and it is perfect for a lady's desk! You'll really enjoy that. I used to have a Shamrock....years ago. They had the most delicate white flower. I think they'll bloom more than once a year if you fertilize it!

ReplyDeleteYour hoosier is beautiful! I've never seen one with the roll-top section. Looks like the perfect spot to plan menus and grocery lists. I adore Shamrock plants, and yes they do re-bloom if given the right light conditions. I had one several years ago that had grown to be HUGE sitting close to an East-facing window. Unfortunately, our cat at the time decided she liked the taste of it and would literally mow it down -- not kidding! I was afraid it might make her sick, so I got rid of it. I'd love to try another one and hope our current cat doesn't find it so delectable. I just love how the plant goes to sleep at night.
