Peacock Chenille Bedspread

I wanted to freshen up one of the spare bedrooms for spring, so I got out a very colorful chenille bedspread!    It has two gorgeous blue peacocks on it ...lots of bright yellow...and some pink flowers.
I paid $10 for this spread at a yard sale about 2 years ago...

It is in very good condition...look at the pretty scallops on the side,
I used our  new dust ruffle that I bought at the auction for $15  (it was in a big box of linens)    The .details  are on the post    "Estate sale Treasures"

I used some vintage peacock pillow cases and some with a pretty blue trim crocheted  on the side.....
I hung this sweet Easter quilt on the foot board that I bought at the auction....

it was $5...

all the squares have a cute bunny scene on them...

H replaced the side tables with a pair of vintage sewing  machines and added a small sewing rocker......

I decorated the top of the sewing  machine with some bunny soaps that I got at the auction...

aren't they cute?

Here's Wumpy Wabbit...

The two soap boxes were $10

This is the vintage sewing machine on the other side of the bed....
I hung a bright yellow painting over it...

I did a clock vignette on the dresser....

with some vintage camera's and two peacocks to match the bedspread...

H painted the closet doors in here a couple of weeks ago...I forgot to take a before picture, but they were really dark!   We are still painting and are on the 7th gallon.  We are going to do a mass painting of wicker furniture out in the backyard in a couple of weeks.   I will take pictures!
