I have been freshening up our bedroom.. I added new bedding, changed the vignette on the fireplace, added some flowers to the vintage wedding gown tree, and a few other touches! |
I got all the flowers that are on the tree at a yard sales this past week end.... |
for $3! |
There were four long garlands... |
H painted the frame on this large picture... |
and it hangs on the small wall by our bedroom door. You can see the hallway cabinet on the right... |
We stapled fabric over the oil painting and hung it longways...is that a word? |
I didn't do anything different on the chesser... |

Your home is so pretty Penny... love all the roses you use everywhere... I could get totally lost in your home I think and not want to come out... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Penny. It's incredulous to get all those garlands so reasonable. I just priced a little rose bower the other day at my favourite vintage decor shop,$29.95 and it only had 5 roses on it. x

Oh how clever of you. Where do I start. Covering the painting with fabric and then painting the frame is such a great idea. I think your hallway cabinet deserves a standing ovation. I am clapping.
