| We had another gorgeous autumn morning today. I took my coffee and walked around the yard......snipping a whole basket full of flowers! |

| I made a big bouquet.... |

| for our table in the kitchen where we are having our lunch today. All the flowers came from our yard, but the babies breath is left over from what I purchased last week at the grocery store for $4.99. |
 |
| I had quite a few purple flowers, so I decided to use a purple/pink/autumn theme for the table. |
 |
| I layered the place mats and the plates.... |
|
| and will use this Chocolate pot to serve out hot tea. |
 |
| We are having "made from scratch" banana pudding for dessert! |
 |

ReplyDeleteGosh, I haven't had good old fashioned pudding in years! I wonder why not, it's so good. I can't believe you still have roses in your garden Penny and that arrangement is gorgeous. I also love baby's breath; which I also haven't seen or used for years. :)
ReplyDeleteI bought a chocolate pot set like that for my mother in law years ago. I always thought it was so beautiful and she did serve me hot chocolate in it!
ReplyDeleteLovely romantic setting. The lace trimmed pumpkin is perfect! Isn't it a joy to cut flowers in your own yard? I am losing older established plants - peonies, a rose and some lavender to some thing we haven't been able to identify - virus or insect - but a little corner that is sunny in the morning and shady in the afternoon as turned out to be perfect for a cutting bed - zinnia, daisies, so far. You've inspired me to google growing baby's breath - would be nice to have that at hand. Have a great week!
