| I made a stop by HL on the way home to check out their 80% off isle, and found these two Flea Market signs for $8 each. I really think they were originally WAY over priced at $40 each, but $8 seemed more like what I wanted to pay. |

| We enjoyed some much needed rain on Saturday! I took these photos on the way over to our daughters home about 8:00 PM, she lives about 2 miles away. We had a beautiful rainbow in the sky and I thought the cloud formations were photo worthy! ReplyDeleteI saw that same Flea Market sign at Hobby Lobby and thought the very same thing! I think they intentionally have everything marked at an outrageous price so they can pat themselves on the back and call it a "sale." Grrrrrr!!!!

Thanks goodness we did not get all the rain that western Pa. got and they have been mentioning on all the national news but we did get about an inch over 2 days. It has been very hot and humid here. i am NOT a hot weather lover!!

ReplyDeleteThis helped me feel good. I just got a set of pretty white glass dishes from a thrift store--a set of 30 dishes for $20 and I'm so excited. Your pieces look really nice and I'm glad you found great bargains too.
I always feel even better about myself when I get used things. I think about how much good stuff gets made and thrown away, I'm glad to get used and not add to our planet's waste.

I have taken a picture, looked at it, and noticed some random bit of reality sticking out like a sore thumb in the back ground of the picture...not that that that is happening here - your random bits of reality look nice. My random bits of reality usually involve a cat grooming itself in an indelicate manner or a pile of laundry on the ironing board. Anyway Happy Pink Saturday!
