| I cut the last of the roses this morning.....sad face.....there may be a few straglers later, but probably not enough to make another bouquet. |

| I decided to use the roses and one of my big pastel pumpkins to make a fall tablescape. |

| We are going to have a simple "fall lunch" ......hearty soup and some crusty bread. |

| I used some vintage pastel dishes for my tablescape.... |
 |
| I will serve the soup in an ironstone soup tureen.....I tied a piece of crochet to the lid handle in case it might be hot. |

| I bought this pitcher and mug set at the auction a few weeks ago. I used the pitcher as a vase for my roses and I will serve pumpkin cappuccino with whipped cream topping in the mugs .....as our dessert!. |

| I took down the blackboard divider that hung in the opening between the kitchen and the dining room. I like being able to see thru to the kitchen..... |

My back yard is in sad shape as the annuals have died and were pulled out and i really need to get out there and start packing things away... I will be off all next week as Joe is on vacation and I am getting my knee injected..... I have a lot to do...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always! We have roses almost year-round here in So. Calif (Rose Parade January 1st!) Your roses are gorgeous. I always have so much fun seeing all the pictures..it relaxes me, plus gives me ideas! hmmmmm lol We have to move in December, but am looking forward to decorating at the new apartment.
