Fall Wreath and a Pink Pickup Truck

The armoire in the sunroom has had a fairy garden in it for way too long.....it's time for something new!

I packed away all the fairy garden decor yesterday so I could start today with a clean slate.      I was awake half the night thinking about all the possibilities ........but,  in the end,  I decided to create a fall vignette  in the armoire.

I never seem to tire of the dried wreath that has been hanging on the back wall of the armoire for a long time,   so I decided to let it stay but freshen it up a bit.

I added a couple of small  fabric pumpkins that I made.......then I tucked in quite a bit of lavender dried material that I collected over the summer.

I added a few more dried blue hydrangea's and also some natural colored dried stuff.

Now to add some more fall to my design.....

You've seen the little metal night light pick up before,   but the pink truck is new.

She wasn't always a pretty pink......

She used to be a orangey red color before I gave her a makeover!

Now to add some fall to the other side of the room where the sofa and coffee table are......

And maybe even a little bit to the fairy garden on the other side of the room.

I had to move the little metal truck  to make room for my snack.
Now I'll sit down and enjoy my fall decor and have  some delicious green grapes......lol!

  1. So cute. I love the bale of hay. Reminds me of when I would decorate. I had a bale of hay (but I kept the plastic on it (I think) ) I would put little pumpkins all around it and a real miniature gourd. Punch the scarecrow picks in the top. I saw on another site yesterday, reminded me of your pumpkin. They were made of sweaters. Not sure if they just wrapped them like you or if they were actually sewn.
