New Water Feature for the Greenhouse Flowerbed

I try to change the flower bed in front of  the green house up just a little bit each year.     This spring I thought a water feature might be just what I was looking for.

The last couple of years I have had metal farm animals in the flower bed so I moved them to another part of the yard and put some geese in front of the flower bed.      These geese belonged to my dad.

You have seen this tank before in our yard before  but it's been a long time ago.    My daughter wanted to put a water feature in  it for on her patio so  I gave it to her 5 or 6 years ago .     She hasn't used it in several years so I asked if I could borrow it back to put a water feature in my back yard.      .

I wanted to make a Duck Pond out of it for the decoys that belonged to my dad.

I have a solar water pump in it.     Today I just have it gurgling since the wind is up a little,   but it has several attachments to make it spray.

H mowed the yard this morning and it is so pretty this spring.

I placed pots of flowers in several spots of the flowerbed     The flowers that are planted in the bed are just beginning to come out of the ground and I wanted  the flower bed to look pretty for Easter.     I also cut some snow balls and lilacs and placed them in watering cans to add even more color.

The flocks are up about knee high.......

The sun is starting to set so most of the yard is in the shade of all the big trees we have.

H built the greenhouse in the spring of 2014 and we've made changes over the years.

2015

Not much change in 2016

In 2017 the pink head board was starting to fall apart  so it was replaced in 2018 with a white wrought iron fence

And here's my 2019 flower bed!

I always enjoy your visits so much,    please come back again soon!

  4. Penny,
Thanks for sharing your lovely back yard. I do like the watering tank for the water feature. They make great raised planting beds too. How wonderful you still have your dad's decoys. I do like your little fairy land green house.
