I gave my She Shed a fresh look for summer yesterday....... |
I replaced the deconstructed wing back chairs with a whimsical pair of vintage wheel chairs |
The wing backs are now plant stands in the back yard |
The wheel chairs are not really safe to sit in anymore so I filled the seats with plants so no one would be tempted to try....lol! |
This wheel chair still has the original leather upholstery on it |
The tires on the wheel chair have seen better days...... |
I love the wheel chair on this side with the little wheel in the back...... |
The seat and back are gone on this one so I hung a plant on the back....... |
Isn't this plant in the seat gorgeous! |
Here's the front of the She Shed....... |
My She Shed also doubles as an Art Gallery. I like to sit in my pink glider with a glass of sweet tea, Listen to music and enjoy a couple of art pieces. |
I've never shared the inside of my She Shed before, I don't know why.....just never have. |
Today I am enjoying 2 paintings that my parents bought Dec 22 1978 in Vegas at the Hacienda Casino. |
Mother always documented where and when she bought art Now, for a tour of the gallery...... |
I also have pictures under the table, but it's in a "hot mess" so I didn't share that part! |
I always enjoy your visits so much, please come back soon! |
I enjoyed the tour. A nice collections of paintings and I love the vintage wheel chairs.

Your She Shed is simply delightful!
ReplyDeletePenny, This is the cutest She Shed I've ever seen! We still have snow here in Maine (unusual but true!) so I envy what looks like beautiful weather where you are. Your little art studio is perfect! Thanks for sharing, Cheryl

ReplyDeleteAs a fellow nurse, I LOVVVVVE your wheelchairs! You have made me realize that I do not have to find a place in the house where my art choices "work". Thank you so much.
ReplyDeletePenny, Thanks for helping us think outside the box. I was about to donate some of my pictures, but now I make rethink that and keep them. I like to rotate pictures in the house too. I usually only buy things I really like so it is hard for me to give some things away.
ReplyDeleteI do love your repurposing things from the past. I worked the medical field too for over 50 years. Oh, how things have changed. I am still working, but not in the medical field. I love genealogy so studying history makes me love the past.
I feel like your little retreat is something we all should have.
Thanks for always sharing.
Leona

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool spot!
ReplyDeletePenny,
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! Love the inside of the shed with all those pieces of art!! I can not believe that you never shared that before!!! I see some Home Interiors items!! I love the wheel chairs and I am always amazed at how you can keep thing outside but I do understand that you do not get much rain. Last year broke all records for the most amount of rain we had and this year is already 3 inches ahead of what we had a t this last year.....If it does not slow down, we will be stuck in the house again all Summer because of rain and humidity that comes with all that rain!!!!
Hugs,
Deb
