Decorating with Yard Sale & Clearance Isle Finds

I hit some really good yard sales yesterday and shopped the clearance isle's at  some of my favorite stores too!    Who am I kidding,   All the decorating stores are my favorite!

I was able to fit all my "treasures" in the first thing I bought Saturday.......a baby carrier

Well,  all but the umbrella!

Let me take them all out and show you what I found

Don't pass up these sweet baby carriers!    You'll see me use this a lot in my decorating.     At the very least,   I can use it to transport decorating items from the studio into the house when I need them.    My carrier is in excellent condition.....$3

I plan to give the gold frame a fresh coat of white paint......and I can use the little farm buildings in my farmhouse vignettes.  They were 50 cents each and the frame was still in it's original packaging.....$5

 

The Mason jars canisters were $4 for the set.     I plant to use them in my pantry,   but they can be used in tons of different ways....

Here you can see I used them in my basket as "lifts" for the metal buildings.

I pulled back the greenery so you could see this jar a little better. 

I  fell in love with this vintage pink ruffled umbrella......

Maybe I should refer to my umbrella as a parasol!    $8,50

The little ruffled pillow cover was only $1

The bird was $1......and all the flowers came from the 70% off isle at Michael's

So,  if you shop at yard sales,   thrift stores, clearance isles  and  flea markets......you can decorate your home even if you're on a really tight budget! 

I've had my Flea Market sign for years......and of course......it came from the clearance isle!

I love to take my photo's on the island because the lighting is great.......but today I have to put it away quickly to make room to prepare food for our grandson's birthday party later this afternoon.

I'll stash my basket of goodies on this table in the dining room until tomorrow or the next day when I'll have more time to play with my new stuff.....lol!
