Simple Valentine Mantel

Packing away all the Christmas decor has been OVERWHELMING to say the least.....lol!    The thought of getting out Valentine totes and unpacking them has not been very appealing to me,   so I decided to just put out a few simple pieces to just give a hint of Valentine's Day.

When I saw this simple buffalo check heart banner at Hobby Lobby the other day,    I knew it would be just the touch of Valentine decor that I had in mind for the master bedroom.   And.....I wouldn't have to unpack anything!

I could just "get cozy" and relax......

A simple banner......

with sweet little pink and white beads......

is just what I had in mind for my simple Valentine mantel.

This is one of my favorite pillows and I keep it out year round in the guest room.

I thought it would add just another little touch of Valentine decor to the master bedroom.......

I moved the sewing machines from the bedside tables to each side of the fireplace to give the master bedroom a little different look.....

Here's the sewing machine lamp on the other side of the fireplace.

I always enjoy your visits so much,   please come back again soon!

  1. Penny, I love your little black and white cow figurines. I have a small collection of black and white cow art and figures. That's the kind we had on the farm I grew up on and I love them. Your mantle looks just right with the checked heart banner, the black and white checks on the fireplace and the little touches of pink. Very "restrained" and pleasant to look at--especially the cow!

  5. Hi Penny! Your decorations are darling, and the mantel itself is beautiful! I love the buffalo check panels at the top - they add just the right amount of casual to that lovely wood. Thanks for the inspiration! 💗
