Prayer Room

Everyone has their own unique  way of coping with these trying times......

H & I chose to cope by spending much of our time in the back yard.     We have cleaned and fluffed almost every inch of the yard......completed several large projects......but giving the tea room a make over is by far my favorite project.    I still will have tea in my old tea room,   but it is now also a sanctuary and Prayer room too!

I shared the changes to the out side a few days ago,   and now I have the inside ready to share with you guys.

  Hope you enjoy the tour......

If you missed the post sharing the outside of the Sanctuary.....here's a link to it,,,,,,http://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2020/04/back-yard-sanctuary.html

It looks like we will be quarantined a few more weeks here at home.....so,  I will be back to share more of our projects with you guys soon!

  7. Good morning Penny, Oh, I love your little mediation chapel. I love the Lord's Last supper statue. Is that a Llardo figurine? That is a jewel. Every inch in your little room is gorgeous and very peaceful. Everyone needs a room like that and maybe we wouldn't have all this sickness and abnormal behavior going on. I know we would all be a lot happier if we had a place like yours to stop and evaluate our lives.
Your backyard is so peaceful and beautiful. May you and Mr H always be able to enjoy it together. Life is short. I am so thankful you share with all of us the important things in each day. Like the old saying "Stop and Smell the Roses".
Thank you so much. God bless all your efforts.

  8. A cute and comfy and comforting space! I have shared my garden in 2 blog posts but so far, no she shed or prayer place in t. I do have an iron gazebo! I can pray throughout the garden as God is there, too.

  13. What a lovely place. I think my blood pressure went down 10 points just scrolling through the pictures! Although I usually feel closer to God when among my few flowers, I know this space would just encourage prayer and meditation!
