Late Summer Changes in the Family Room

I was walking out of Hobby Lobby a few days ago,   and the young man walking near me was carrying a gorgeous cow pic.   I looked at him and  told him that I thought his picture was pretty.    He smiled and said  "I bought it for my mom,   do you think she'll like it"....and I said "She will LOVE it"   I thought about that picture for several days and finally went back to HL and picked up one for myself. 
I hadn't changed the wall decor on each side of the fireplace in several years,  so I decided to hang it on the left side of the fireplace.

I already had a cow picture hanging over the sofa that was the same size as the one I had just purchased,   so I took it down and hung it on the other side of the fireplace.

I love the new look!

I didn't like the way the table lamps looked with the new wall art,  so I moved them to another room.   The wall art that was there before found a new home in a spare bedroom....can't wait to share how it looks there!

I placed a dandelion floral design on the table under the picture......

I didn't make any changes to the fireplace mantel since I plan to decorate it for fall in a couple of weeks.

I bought the cow picture on the other side of the fireplace a few months ago on Amazon.

I created a white mum floral design on the side table under my cow print.    H sits in the recliner by this side table,   so I put a little sign on the table to remind him that "I'll love him til the cows come home"....lol!

Here's how the picture looked over the sofa.....now I have a blank space there!     I think I'll design a pretty fall wreath to hang it it's place.
