Old Water Trough Repurposed as a Buffet

My old water trough is one of my most versatile pieces of decor.      It's been a water feature in the yard.....a coffee table on the back porch......a Christmas tree "stand"......and now a buffet in the sun room

This was such a quick and easy transformation.
All I did was turn it over onto an old Singer sewing machine stand.    The iron stand was sturdy enough to hold the weight of the trough and the old sink that was attached to the top of the stand gave the trough a sturdy top to sit on.

After my new Farmhouse buffet was in place in the sun room,    it was time to have some fun decorating the top of it for fall......

I put a fall buffalo check/sunflower table runner on the top of my new buffet.....

The centerpiece of my tabletop decor is a cow picture.    Instead of hanging it on the wall,   I turned a little step stool upside down and used it as an easel.

I filled in around my cow picture with pumpkins and other fun fall decor......

H took the leather recliner to the studio and brought back in a vintage rocker to put in it's place.   We also moved the love seat that you see next to the rocker to the family room.   I can't wait to share the new look in the sun room in an upcoming post!

See how versatile a water trough is!

For another fall touch,    I placed a pretty pillow in my rocker.

I always enjoy your visits so much,    please come back again soon!
