It sure doesn't seem much like spring here in Eastern New Mexico today,   there are still traces of snow on the ground and the temp is in the 50's.    The weather man is assuring me that we will be back to normal next week and he better be!

Spring Blooms

The ornamental pear trees have started to bloom in our yard,  so H went out and cut a few small branches for me to make a bouquet in the kitchen.     Yesterday it was about 60 degrees here in Eastern New Mexico,   but today it is barely out of the teens and we have two inches of snow on the ground.....CRAZY!

Vintage Pie Table

I have come across several round tiered tables.... sometimes referred to as a pie table,   but I haven't see too many square ones.    So when  this one came up at the auction,   I bid on it even though it was it terrible condition ....and no one else wanted it so I got it pretty cheap

How to Hang Decorative Bowls on the Wall

I have hung decorative plates on the wall many times,  but I had never tried to hang any of my large vintage serving bowls.   I Googled   "bowl hangers" and couldn't find anything that looked like what I envisioned.

I love to keep a pretty table runner on our breakfast bar.
When I saw this Mary Engelbreit fabric at Joann's,  I knew it would be perfect for a Valentine table runner.

Shabby Mantle Scarf

It was time for a change....not a big change...just a little!
I wasn't really tired of the mantle scarf that had been on my mantle for several years,  but I wanted a change.
