Vintage Ornament Christmas Wreath

Several years ago I made a vintage ornament Christmas wreath using pink,  blue,  and silver ornaments.      Sadly as the years have went by,   ornaments fell off ......broke......this type of wreath is very fragile.     I removed what ornaments were still usable from the wreath and put them in a tote a couple of years ago.

White Ceramic Christmas Tree's and a Pink Lincoln

I guess I now have a 'collection" of white ceramic Christmas trees since I found another one this past summer at a yard sale.   I now have a total of 3,   doesn't that make a collection?

Farmhouse Christmas Kitchen featuring Mason Jar Decor

I've been working my way around the kitchen cleaning and decorating the counters for Christmas.

Week End Treasure Hunt

The weather here in Eastern New Mexico is still very mild (60's and 70's) for it to be the middle of November.    With the warm weather,   there were several yard sales over the week end.

I try to have most of my Christmas decorating done by Thanksgiving so I'm not so rushed during the holidays.    This year I am running way behind.....way.... way  behind!

Thanksgiving Tablescape

I'm still playing with ideas for our Thanksgiving tablescape.      For me,   Thanksgiving is all about being thankful,   my family,   and the food.    I want the table to look as good as the food does!

Christmas Mason Jars

I created some Christmas Mason jars today to use in vignettes on the kitchen counters.     I have them all gathered up in one location to make it easier to take photo's,   but later I will spread them around the kitchen.

Junkin' in the Wild West

H and I drove over to Amarillo Texas the other day to eat lunch and visit some of the great antique shops they have on the old Route 66.    I wanted to share some of what I saw at The Nat,   one of my favorite  places to "pick".

Softer Side of Fall

H created this unique entry piece  that sits on the porch right by the front door.    He married a dresser bottom to some kind of top that I'm not sure what it was in it's previous life.....anyway.....I really do like it.
I wanted to put together a fall vignette on it this morning and after about an hour of fighting the stiff breeze,   I gave in.....kind of!     I decided to include all the leaves blowing around me in my vignette.

I've always thought it would be fun to decorate an upside down tree,   and I decided this would be the year I did it!

Fall in the Hall

We're up and down this hall about a 100 times a day,   well maybe not that many but it is a whole bunch of times.     So, I decided to add a few fall/Halloween touches to it this morning to make our trips a little more pleasant.
