Christmas Banner for the Fireplace

My 2020 Christmas theme for the family room is "Christmas Flower Market".    I picked a gorgeous Poinsettia alphabet  banner that I found on Pinterest to print and hang across the fireplace mantel.    The banner is pretty enough just to hang as it comes,   but of course as usual .....I wanted to embellish it to give it my personal touch.

I layered my banner on vintage white doilies......

After I got it hung.....I glued on my embellishments 

I may yet add some fairy lights to my banner.

I carried my theme to the floor by adding a couple of market baskets to the front of the hearth.....

I filled my baskets with pretties that you might find at a Christmas Flower Market......matching floral wreaths.....

And for the final touch,   I placed a couple of Christmas pillows between the market baskets.    To add a little whimsy,  a sweet goat pillow completes the vignette.

I am close to having the mantel finished and can't wait to share it with you guys!
