Easter Brunch Vignette, a Sunny Window for my Plants, and More

In my last post,   I shared the Corner Coffee Station in the kitchen and today I have the other corner counter to share with you guys.    The theme for this corner is Easter Brunch.

While I was photographing this corner I tried different ways to create my Easter Bruch vignette.   In this first vignette I used a printed invitation to an Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt......

Then I swapped out the invitation with an Easter Brunch Menu.....which one do you like the best?

Then I started moving the bunny / chicks around.    Here they are on each side of the carrot cake.....

and here they are in front of the white enamel bird house coffee pot.

Which way do you like the birds placed the best?

I didn't make any changes to the signs I have stuck on the corrugated metal piece...

the ceramic Carrot Cake.....

or the floral design in my vignette.

Now I want to share how I make a temporary sunny window for my plants.     I like to have live plants on the coffee table in the family room,   but there isn't any direct sun light in that room.    So,  I move them into the kitchen for about an hour a day.    My sink cover makes a perfect temporary place to put my plants on when the sink isn't in use after breakfast.     I move them back to their home on the coffee table in about an hour (I shower and do my hair and make up during that hour....hehe)

I still am looking for pretty containers to put my plants in,   but for now they are still in the black plastic pots they came from the garden center in.

Here's a vintage potato masher that I repurposed recently.   It's such a simple and easy project....just screw a metal clip into the wooden handle and you have a sweet sign holder.

I always enjoy your visits so much....

come back again anytime.....

you're always welcome here!

  6. Good morning, I love the menu sign with the rabbit's ears peaking out. You have some blue pots with flowers peaking around the corner in one picture. Please share with us the full view of those pots and where you found them if they are new. I love blue and white. I do love Easter decorations like Christmas decorations. Love, love all your pictures.
    Thanks for sharing.
