Buttercup's first Spring & a Peek into my Repurposed Utility Trailer

Last fall we added a new piece of yard art to our property...... Buttercup......our life size metal cow.    Zoning restrictions prohibit us from having live cows,  so we settled for the next best thing    I have really never thought of it as "settling" though since we love Buttercup so much!

She found a home in the front yard right next to the repurposed utility trailer.   Our trailer was retired from the road several years ago and has wore many hats over the years.   I've called it the She Shed.....my art studio.....and more recently,  Buttercup's Barn.

I keep a hay bale "settee" next to the Barn year round and use it often for the grands to sit on and have their picture taken.

Now for a peek into my Repurposed utility trailer.....She Shed....Art Studio......and Buttercup's Barn

All I have to do to be able to go inside is just remove the curtain from the hooks over the doors....and open the trailer up.

Although the name of the trailer has changed many times over the years.    the contents has always remained the same.

I've been asked many times where I store all my decor...well,   this is where I store wall art when it's not in use.

Sometimes I just sit in the trailer / art studio and enjoy looking at the wall art that I have collected over the years.   Some of the pieces belonged to my mother and have sentimental value,  but some of my fave pieces have come from yard sales.

Hope you enjoyed Buttercup's first Spring photo shoot and a tour of the trailer!

  1. Good morning, I love your cow. What a great idea for a trailer- storage place!!! I think you have the right idea of keeping your art and just being able to sit and view and day dream. I loads of art too. My daughter is trying to get me to get rid of most it. Well, she is grown and doesn't live with me, so she can go home and view what she wants to. I don't say anything, but just look at my beautiful collections. We need to hold onto beautiful things. We have enough garbage going on in the world. THANK YOU, THANK YOU for sharing your lovely home.
