Front Porch Snack / Beverage Bar from Repurposed Sleigh Bed

Several years ago H gave new life to a broken sleigh bed that had been passed down thru several of our family members.   When the foot board finally broke ....no one else wanted it anymore so we gave it a home.     I knew H could repurpose it into something fantastic....and he never disappoints!    I'll share before pic's at the end of the post.

I've used it on the porch many times as a beverage bar,  and today I'm adding another hat for it to wear.   I'm using it as a snack bar to eat our supper on tonight.

I had to borrow the step stools for us to eat on.....they were being used as plant stands on each side of the wicker sofa on the porch.

Here's where I borrowed them from...

I also borrowed a centerpiece from the kitchen to use for the evening....

Everything around here has to be ready to do double duty.....smile

I used a watermelon place mat.....sunflower paper plate.....pink salad plate....and copper silverware.

I used a couple of my mothers yellow water glasses....paper napkins....and the final touch for the place setting is a small framed watermelon pic.   I found the watermelon prints on Pinterest....printed them on my home printer....and framed them with small frames from yard sales.

I'm using a watermelon /sunflower theme to decorate the porch for summer.....and as you can see,  the theme is spilling out into the yard too

I promised a before pic at the beginning of my post....and you can find it in the photo below....

The buffet was covered with a green umbrella at first.....when that one wore out,  it was replaced with a black and white buffalo check umbrella.....and now it has a black and white ticking umbrella over it

Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit.....hugs
