My inspirations for our summer porch was a Hello Summer print featuring a picnic in a field of sunflowers and a quilt that I've had for many years |
My quilt has a yellow sunflower in the center that blooms out into petals covered with a roses |
I created a floral design that has the colors and flowers in the quilt to tie everything together. |
So now....I bet you're wondering why I felt the need to add watermelons to the mix....lol! |
There's always a reason to my madness.....lol! |
Watermelon is the star of the picnic on a blanket in a field of sunflowers..... |
So it make perfect sense to me that watermelon be included in the vignette on the entry buffet. |
Now that I've explained how my mind works, you know that I plan to add sunflowers, roses, watermelon AND a picnic basket or 2 to the rest of the porch |
I've had my sunflower pillows a long time. I found them at Joann's in the after summer clearance aisle several years ago. |
Thank you so much for stopping by, I always enjoy your visits so much! |
