How I store my Spring & Easter Decor in the Studio Cabinets

 I am frequently asked where I store all my Seasonal & holiday decor, 
 
  I have quite a few built in cabinets in the studio and I decided to make better use of them by taking my Spring & Easter decor out of the totes I had stacked in another storage shed and putting it on these shelves   

 I won't sugar coat it though.....it was a lot of work,  purging,  and organizing to get everything that was in the totes to fit on 12 shelves.     

You can store a whole lot more in a tote than you can on a shelf.....lol! 
   

One of the first things I had to do was get rid of all the stuff that was already on these 12 shelves  to make room for the spring & Easter decor.    It turned out not to be as hard as I had first imagined since most of the stuff had been on the shelves for years and was seldom used.    I sent a bunch of it to the auction and donated the rest.

 

I made little vignettes on my shelves to give me some inspriation when it came time to decorate the house

 

I tried putting all the bunnies on one shelve.....all the Easter eggs on another....etc.      I found I liked it better in vignettes instead

 

 

The last 2 photo's in my post are of how I used some of the decor in the studio to dress up our home for Easter last year.
