|   What better way to welcome in the first day of spring than with a visit to Puddle Duck's Diner! |
For the Puddle Duck's Diner vignettes,    I brought out my Restaurant dishes that were used right here in my hometown by a local diner in the 60's

I also included my vintage duck salt and pepper shakers in one of the vignettes They are marked "Japan" on the bottom.... |

The Puddle Duck's Diner has a whole staff of duck chef's and servers...... |

This cute duckling goes around to the tables to make sure no one has an empty cup of coffee .... |

And this pair, pass out cookies all day long! |

Love the yellow of the ducks, really adds a "springy" feeling!
ReplyDeleteI love the pastel colors and cute little ducks. I remember fondly, my mom reading me "The Tale of Aunt Jemima Puddle-duck" by Beatrix Potter. A lot of memories in these decorations. I love it :)
ReplyDeletePenny, your home is always so lovely!!! These ducks are adorable... I especially like hearing that you have some of the china used at the old diner; what a lovely way to keep those days of dining when life was a bit slower alive. Enjoy your sweet ducklings! The s/p shakers are very sweet. SYS #421 is still up for a few more days and I know you already know your post was featured but I wanted to make sure to come by and say hello! Always fun to stop by!!
ReplyDeleteHappy spring hugs,
Barb :)
