Spring at Apple Blossom Farm

My lit cabinet is full of mini vignettes that celebrate
spring at Apple Blossom Farm .....

My first project was to create a long centerpiece to go across the ledge of the cabinet...
I used a 5-foot-long chicken feeder as the base for my centerpiece.....

I wove a long Apple Blossom garland across the top of the chicken feeder....set a metal can of flowers on each end ....attached some farm prints to the feeder....& the final touch was to add Chickens & baby chicks to the vignette....

Hanging above the centerpiece is a framed print that says
 "Apple Blossom Farms"

Then, I created lots of mini vignettes in the cabinet.....

I kept the vignettes simple......

Some vignettes are just a simple Apple Blossom Farm print....

Info on the kits that you see me use can be found here

I hope you enjoyed touring my Apple Blossom Farm!

  1. That cabinet is just a showpiece. I don't remember if that came with the house or if you had that built but it is wonderful! We used to have those chicken feeders on the farm when I was a little kid. There were smaller ones, too, for the baby chicks and I can remember gently holding the little chicks head down into the feeder until it caught on how to 'eat'. Love your Apple Blossom Farm! xo Diana

  2. Hi Diana, The cabinet was put in when the house was built....but then it was a brownish/black color. So was the paneling! It took over 7 gallons of paint to brighten up our family room and lots of elbow grease.....lol!
