Today I'm sharing photos of our front porch & yard.... |

We live in the Southwest & get less than 15 inches of rain a year.... |

The front yard doesn't have an inground sprinkler system, so it's Xeriscaped.... |

The Butterfly bushes do great in the dry climate here in the Southwest.... |

I plan to scatter around a few green artificial plants to the front yard to add a little curb appeal.... |

Maybe I'll add a few pots of artificial flowers to brighten things up..... Maybe a little metal yard art....the possibilities are endless!! |

Your front porch looks so welcoming, and I love how you’ve worked with the dry climate instead of against it. The butterfly bushes are a beautiful choice for a xeriscaped yard, and those little touches of decor will add so much charm.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good, Penny. On my way to Starbucks the other day (with my son) I showed him the place where all the grass in the front yard has been replaced with stone (like yours). He said- I bet those people are from Arizona or somewhere like that. lol. I am glad you have some green in your backyard because I do think that has more of an oasis feel. Everything looks pretty, Penny. xo Diana
