This is a spare bedroom that our 5 year old grandaughter , Kyleigh, plays in. I got her Playpal dolls out and made a tea party on the bed for them and Kyleigh. |
This is Patty, she has on Kyleigh's princess Santa hat.... |
and a pretty cream dress with a floral apron over the top... |
This is Daphne...she has on her fur hat and one of Kyleigh's dresses that she has out grown |
It has a cute little dog on it... |
and Daphne has a pink can can under her dress. |
Their tree is decorated with dolls..... |
tea cups, ribbon... |
doll shoes, and little bottle brush trees... |
I bought this tree last week end in Lubbock at an estate sale for $5... |
This is where the horses sleep when they aren't on the front porch... |
During the day, they ride the range on the porch, but we bring them in at night! Afraid cattle rustlers might steal them! |
Daphne rides her bike and the horses during the day, she has on her cowgirl dress here ...but she comes in to the spare bedroom at night also...can't be too careful around these parts...lol |
Across from the bed is a dresser with Kyleigh's Christmas barbies on it... |
I let her play with all the dolls, what good are they if she can't play with them! |
Kyleigh also calls the spare bedroom her "arcade" Her and Papa spend many a hour playing with this vintage slot machine. |
I have this wicker love seat on the opposite wall.. |
This doll belonged to my Grandma...I have to 'help' Kyleigh when she holds this doll... |
Another Christmas Barbie and a Precious Moments tea pot. |
I hope you have enjoyed joining the girls for their tea party! |
Merry Christmas! |

ReplyDeleteStopping by from KatheWithAnE blog hop.
This post made me smile - I still have my Patty PlayPal - her hair is a bit messy, but I just can't part with her! Love your girly decorations!
ReplyDeleteI have a doll like the one here in the Princess Santa hat, but her cheeks are not near as rosy!
ReplyDeleteI love this page, it is right up my alley.
You mention the horses staying outside, and then I see a doll outside. In my neighborhood these things would get stolen, how do you keep them safe when they are outside?
Wow! Your granddaughter is one lucky little girl! That's a beautiful room!
ReplyDeleteThe world needs more tea parties. Such a calming effect and so beautiful when done by you.
