| I had been loving lavender this spring and decided to use lots of it in my Easter tablescape. I bought these big sparkly lavender eggs at Hobby Lobby last year...90% off. They matched the lavender carrots that I had got there the year before. |

| All the place settings are different....for this one I used a spring green transferware plate as the charger, then added a white plate, and topped it off with a lavender cut glass plate. |
 |
| I used matching plaid pastel place mats and plaid napkins on all four settings. I added one of my grandmothers pansy crochet pieces to this setting....just for whimsy! |

| This place setting has a ironstone plate for the charger. It has a pretty spray of flowers in the center that show through the lavender cut glass plate. |

| Here is the last place setting...all are different...but the spring theme brings them all together! |

| The centerpiece for the table is a sweet bunny sitting on a cake plate. The little Easter basket to her right is a hand crocheted piece that has been heavily starched. |

I have never collected it before so mine will be sparce..but you can bet I have my eyes open wide looking for more! Your table is just simply wonderful! No one but you could accomplish something like that. *extremely heavy sigh* :) (I enlarge every single picture and absorb the details like a starving person with their first chocolate cake!) Oh, okay, so I get a bit dramatic! LOL

I have to say, that my most favorite part of this beautiful tablescape is your grand-mother's incredible pansy crochet. I'm always drawn to pansies because they are my favorite flower.

I, too, was going to wait a little, but I did start bringing out some spring things just today. Love, love that lavender cut glass, it's gorgeous. I love to decorate for spring b/c I love pastels. ReplyDeleteI love your Easter table! I've started early too. I think it's because it's been such a long, cold winter this season. We've had snow on the ground since Christmas! It started to melt a bit a few days ago and I actually saw the grass in our backyard for the first time in a long time!! Yay! I'm really looking forward to spring!!
