| I wanted to show you some pictures of how great the back yard looks this spring. The same company had taken care of this yard for 20 years and the grass was looking worse and worse every year. So, H decided to let them go and take care of it himself. |

| We lived in a town house before we moved here and the yard was taken care of by the association. So, we hadn't owned a mower or any yard stuff forEVER! H bought a riding mower....he looks so cute out there riding around! |

| H put a great fertilizer on the grass and it has really greened up in a short time. |

She looks so cute there. I have a wooden cart but over the years - it has to be totally rebuilt. Hopefully when we retire Hubby can do it as I love those wooden pieces. Yours is wonderful!

You have a wonderful yard, Penny. I really like that wheelbarrow. I have never seen one made just to haul two bales of hay like that either. What a great find that is. My grandmother used to wear a bonnet like that when she was out working in the garden- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour yard is lovely! And the grass looks so good. What kind of fertilizer did H use? I need some of that. I have an old wheelbarrow with a steel wheel in my front yard that I usually grow nasturtiums in during the summer. It's still full of snow right now....

The Amish used to wear hats like that around southern Pa.
Your yard looks lovely. When we had grass in our tiny back yard, I prided myself on how grass it was. I used to take care of it like crazy. inherited that from my Dad, his grass was always beautiful!! Sometimes I miss having the grass but I do love my flower beds...
It is in the 60's here and may hit 70 this weekend and I am off!! Whoa!! Spring has finally come to NEPA!!

I have two old wheelbarrows, but they are metal...and I did have a third one given to me by my daughter that I loved...but it finally fell apart. I was able to just save a few part of it... very sad. It was in the falling apart stage when I took it home (she moved and had no room for it) so I had fun playing with it. Yours is so unique!!! Adorable.

ReplyDeleteAdorable! I just bought a few silk geraniums this year. I seem to kill my hanging baskets every year in this Hot NNC weather. They look really good too! Very real. The birds are even making nests in the baskets I just hung on my porch.
