You all know how much I love linens and lace don't you? Well, I was in paradise Friday and Saturday...... |
At the yard sales, there were yards and yards of gorgeous lace...... |
Mounds of vintage doilies...... |
Beautiful embroidered pieces....... |
Vintage tablecloths.......I felt like I was dreaming!!! |
After a hard day of shopping....lol......I stopped by Joann's and picked up some fabric to make fall pumpkins...... |
Then on to Hancocks to get some faux fur for pumpkins.....no, I'm not crazy....my mother had me tested! |
I also found some white faux fur for pumpkins.....and some pearls to use for embellishments on them......maybe some of that gorgeous lace would be pretty...hum.... |
After I get some of the linens marked for the booth, I am going to sit down and start making fall pumpkins. |
Ooohhhhh...how could you do that??!! LOL I saw all those goodies...nearly fainted and rushed to...find you were putting it off. Terrible! Just terrible. :)
ReplyDeletebig hugs..
See you tomorrow...

Oh my goodness...what riches!!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love it when when all of those fabulous buys just seem to fall into your lap. Very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteWow - you certainly scored! Funny, I embroidered a kitty kat just like the one you have on that tea towel, except I embroidered mine on a pillow case! Sure brings back memories. Can't wait to see you pumpkins made of fur and pearls!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what I would not give to find a yard sale like that.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Penny, Oh my, you are one lucky girl.... I love the lace and doilies which you found they are delightful. I am collecting vintage doilies at the moment because I want to make a doilie quilt.... which should be fun. I wish I could join you on your thrifting weekends as I would find enough doilies to make a quilt in no time.
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes to you.
Daphne
Good morning! Sooo...here is all is! Your beautiful haul! Penny, my dear..you are such an inspiration. I haven't come across wonderful find like that in ages. What fun to go through it all. coming home after a good morning's treasure hunting..and unloading..taking a break and then looking though it all..is GREAT fun! The best part is that a couple of dollars many times..it's hard to believe...but it happens. Addictive, isn't it? I wish I knew why I cannot get your link to work..it's upsetting!!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Linens and lace at garage sales is amazing! I don't even bother going to them around here because it is all strollers and baby clothes so I have to hold out for the estate sales.
