The photo on the left shows how the buffet looked with a "apron curtain" across the front The photo on the right shows how it looks now with the new curtain that I made from the fabric that I am using throughout the kitchen.
You may remember the apron curtain hanging in the kitchen window earlier, well, it didn't work out there...lol! I couldn't see outside and the curtain hung right behind the kitchen faucet and was in the way. It was on a tension rod, so when I took it down, it was easily put into place on the buffet until I could get the new one made. |

Hi, Penny! I've been following your blog for a little while now and have seen a lot of your posts linked to the same parties I join. I love looking at your home and I love what you have done to your kitchen. The window curtain is beautiful and I like that they were a DIY. It reminds me of a vintage doll house I always wanted! Your husband must love pink and you're lucky because I could never get away with a pink coffee maker! :) Great coffee station.
ReplyDeleteI am just loving that pink coffee pot--and it makes me want coffee reading your post!
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking of making a stand alone coffee bar too. Yours is delightful and makes me think of a Bed & Breakfast. The pink coffee pot is fabulous and I want to try your special tip of a candle cradled in coffee beans! Thank you for being you.
ReplyDeletePenny, I love that you have had so much fun with your kitchen and have made it so hospitable! What a lovely scene from your kitchen window! Enjoy your snowy day. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love the whole presentation. I was wondering if you painted your cabinets white and how you did it.
ReplyDeletePenny, I always have such a peaceful feeling looking at your blog. Love the pink coffee maker!
