Christmas Bedroom

To give the house a fresh look every Christmas,   I rotate the tree's that I use in each room.    I don't put a tree in every room,  and this was the year for the master bedroom to be "treeless"      I still wanted to add some quick touches of Christmas to the bedroom,  so here's what I did.....
I have never hung stockings on the footboard ,  so this is a new look for me....

We have plenty of greenery that can be cut from the bushes in our front yard,   so I took advantage of that for a "free" Christmas look and smell....
I wired fresh greenery to the foot board and placed a live poinsettia and a small Santa on each side table....you can see them if you look close.....

Here is the other side....

I changed the bedding for a fresh look.    I replaced the quilt that I had on the bed with a chenille bedspread.....reversed the comforter,  and placed a white furry throw at the end of the bed.

To the existing mantle vignette.   I added a poodle that I filled with a vintage Christmas ornament tree.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds....while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads......
