Better Late than Never

Somehow I forgot about this post.....does that ever happen to you?
 About a week ago,    I showed you how I made the sweet Easter basket you see on the island.     After I created the basket,   H and I had a quick simple lunch and I took some photo's before we ate.   Then I completely forgot about it until today when I saw the post way down at the bottom of my post page.......lol!

Anyway,  better late than never!    H and I eat very simple meals.....meals that don't take much time to prepare.   But a simple meal doesn't mean that you can't take a few minutes to spruce it up a bit.      Put your plates on a pretty place mat.....

Serve your simple meal on a fun plate......

Use cloth napkins.....

And have a bouquet of fresh flowers!  
  I served our salad on the cutting board that I used to cut all the veggies up,  
H and I don't like the same things on our salad,  so I don't ever combine all the veggies.
