Easter Tablescape

I have been playing with dishes again this morning!
The Easter dinner is a very special one for our family and I want the tablescape to be perfect,  so I will be trying different ones over the next few weeks and pick my favorite to use Easter Sunday.

I picked up a pot of Lambs Ear at the nursery over the week end and decided to use it as my centerpiece.    I hope Humpty Dumpty doesn't fall off of the silver champagne bucket.

I often mix fresh with fake flowers,  so I added some Lilly of the Valley silk stems to my bucket of Lambs Ear.

Before........................................................................After

See what a difference it makes to add silk to real flowers...

Before I give you a tour of the table,   I wanted to draw your attention to the potted fern basket at the end of the table.

I added a bunny butt to my basket,     First I think it's a cute addition and second it hides the handle that I will use to hang the basket when it's warm enough to put it outside.

I added a buffalo check bow to each chair.....and a buffalo check pillow to the chairs on each side of the buffet.

Each place setting has a pretty pink ruffled bunny plate.....a bunny paper napkin,  a vintage tea glass,   and a monogrammed pink linen napkin.

The only difference in the place setting is the bunny.......each one is different.....

This bunny has a butterfly that has landed on his arm................

This bunny has a pretty pink bow around it's neck.....

This bunny has her Easter basket ready for the Easter egg hunt.....

Are you planning your tablescape for Easter Sunday dinner yet?

  16. Hello Mrs. Penny,
You got to me before I got to you to tell you that I featured your delightful charming tablescape today along with five others on Thursday Favorite Things. Thank you so much for dropping by to express your thanks. I do appreciate that little bit of love so very much, more than you can possibly know it means a lot to me when ladies do that.

You always do something so cute but this time, I'm crushing on your vintage bunnies and those exaggerated faces. I have a love of old Victorian style toys and dolls. My husband thinks they are so creepy. ha ha ha! The bunnies and Humpty Dumpty in pink are so cute! Wherever did you find the Humpty Dumpty? What a clever idea to use his egg shaped body in an Easter tablescape! I would never have thought of that. I love it!

Those blush dishes are divine; such a perfect grown up pink color with elegant details paired next to the lacy doilies wrapped around the flatware.....

If you are concerned about Humpty Dumpty falling and being without all the kings horses and all the kings men to put Humpty Dumpty back together again, perhaps some sticky back velcro planted on his bum will keep him nestled in place so he doesn't break again. ;-)

Today your post was featured on my features for Thursday Favorite Things. Just a note about the link party- Our scheduled time for going live is now at 7 a.m MST instead of Wednesday evenings.

Thank you for sharing with us. Your post is Pinned in our Thursday Favorite Things group board.
