There are so many things you can do with a tub......where do I start! |
I knew that I wanted to have light shining thru the holes....... |
It could be used as a planter......or.....maybe just have a top made and use it as a end table |
Put a big bucket of iced drinks in it...... |
Put a pillow on top and prop your feet up...... |
Add fairy lights to the plants...... |
Here's another thought....... |
Fill it with small logs and make a faux fire pit....... |
My washer tub doubles as a light for the front porch...... |
The tub adds an industrial look to my shabby chic porch...... |
Here's a few how to tips on how H converted it to what I needed. He removed this big shaft to make the tub flat on both sides. |
Which way do you like it......planter? |
Or faux fire pit? |
LOVE this tub and I also love every way that you showed how it cold b displayed!! You always recycle the coolest things!!

Penny, Oh I think you are clever. ...I loved it both ways. You could use the planter thru summer and the logs thru fall. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

You have more creativity in your pinky than most have in their whole body...me included! I'm so amazed at everything you do. So clever!
ReplyDeleteOK. I am seriously in love with this! I would never have thought to do this. And I just gave away my old washing machine. Feeling sad about that now! Such a cool idea!
ReplyDeleteLove the light shining through it and it looks great as both so you can have plants in the summer and logs in the winter :)
ReplyDeleteI love this. I made a faux firepit this year using fairy lights as well. Its a workable firepit, but their have been firebans the last three years so this way it will get use. They are so pretty at night, I just have to dress a bit warmer to enjoy it. Love yours.
