It's easy to add garden "texture" with a big basket of flowers that have different colors and shapes. |
I like to use Boston ferns to add greenery "texture" to my garden. |
The area I wanted to share today is a long narrow flower bed and the back porch off the sun room. |
I have rose bushes planted in the flower bed. When the rose bushes aren't in bloom, I add color and texture with baskets of flowers and greenery. |
Look at all the textures in the baskets sitting in the metal chairs. |
I have a metal windmill stuck in each of the baskets. |
I found my windmills in the spring garden section at Hobby Lobby if you need one for your garden. |
I took a few photo's of the flower bed from the front porch of Our Happy Place (formerly know as the greenhouse) |
Now for a closer look at the porch off the sun room...... |
I planted a wooden pickup Welcome sign next to the french doors that go into the sun room. ( the sign is from Hobby Lobby if you would like to plant one in your garden) |
A couple of the buds have started to open on the red rose bush....... |
H had just watered the garden and I loved how the leaves still have drops of water on them. |
Can't wait for all the roses to be in bloom.....ahhh the smell will be heavenly! |
The yard is almost totally shaded at this time of the day. The sun is setting......time to relax in the yard with a glass of wine....... |
Penny, your yard is gorgeous. Honey, you've not only got the decorating touch but you have a very green thumb too!
