I created a Valentine vignette for the fireplace mantel in the family room today |
I've found that deciding on a theme for my space makes it much easier and faster for everything to come together... |
I wanted the family room to have the feel of a vintage Valentine shop..... |
For the mantel, I chose some prints that depicted how a Valentine Floral shop might look on the outside... |
as well as the inside.... |
The other side of the family room is being reflected in the mirror hung on the wall by the fireplace.... |
Here's a closer look at that area of the family room. Here's a link to that post .... https://penny-pennystreasures.blogspot.com/2025/01/valentine-vignette.html |
I'll share a close up of the piano decorated for Valentines Day in an upcoming post.... |
I seldom decorate the hearth, but I couldn't resist setting pretty rose bushes on it for Valentine's Day |
In this shot, the lit cabinet is being reflected in the mirror........which I will share when I get it finished! |
Thank you so much for stopping by today.......hugs... |
I think you've achieved the look you're going for, vintage and romantic. Pretty!! Have a good weekend!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't get Christmas away---Hubby has stopped me at the tree(everything else is gone)...maybe we will leave it up (sans ornaments) and add hearts. I do love the light it brings to the room. Hugs, and Love...LOL your LOVE STUFF!
ReplyDeleteThank your for letting me live vicariously through your decorative decadence. My husband prefers minimal decor, so I have to sneak in little pockets of excess here and there. Your house is over the top gorgeous, and charming too!
