Pink Flocked Trees in the Family Dining Room

I've been testing the waters to see if I'm ready to decorate for Christmas yet......

I set up a pair of pink flocked trees in the family room dining area about a week ago and finally got them decorated yesterday.   

 I topped each tree with pink bow.....

Then, I decorated the tree with roses in different shades of pink.... 

The trees on each side of the picture window are decorated very similar....

I took down the picture that had been on the short wall between the deconstructed sofa and the pink tree.... 

I replaced the existing picture with a favorite picture of mine that I haven't used in years....  I had a pretty good-sized piece of a vintage chenille crib blanket.     I thought it would be a perfect addition to the Christmas decor in the family room.   My theme this Year is Baby Jesus....the Nativity 

I was so pleased with that wall after we took down the dark piece of wood..... then, we swung the sofa away from in front of the window and put it on the side of the table.

Making those changes gave me the room I needed to put a tree on each side of the window.....and I have been sitting in the sun on the end of the sofa to have my morning coffee! 

As far as my Christmas decor in the built in cabinet......it's best described as a "work in progress"
