Spring has come to our front yard! The Bradford pear trees are in full bloom. |
We have about 15 of these beautiful trees that line the circular drive way in front of our house. |
H brought me in some branches to make a bouquet to set on my Hoosier desk....I showed you the desk a few days ago and I said that I was going to change out the chair....well, I did... |
I brought in a wicker rocker and put a comfy cushion and soft pillow in it.... |
I got the moss rocks at the Dollar Tree also... |
I brought H in a new comfy wicker chair too! We are really enjoying our new sitting area in the kitchen! |
Here is H's place setting, ....he is using the tea cart for his table. |
Isn't this little tea pot cute.... |
I have a spring tablecloth on the tea cart.... |
This is the vignette that is on the wall behind H's chair... |
I have an Easter table cloth on the stool.... |
I love spring blossoms...... |
The trees along your drive-way are just beautiful. How wonderful it must be to walk along there. Heaven! You have so many sweet Easter ornaments. I am really enjoying all your bunnies and lambs. Deb

My heavens your home is so cozy and welcoming. I'd so love to have a nice little area like yours to sit and chat, have some snacks or lunch. Most of all I am disgustingly envious of your hoosier. That is my wish is to get another hoosier for our kitchen. We had one in KY but when we moved to CO I thought I didn't have room for it so sold it. Boy was that ever dumb. Anyway, love all your awesome goodies in your home. Enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter
KY had trees like that and I loved them but oh boy am I allergic to them. We had to leave KY due to my darned allergies, asthma, and arthritis, no fun at all and I loved it there.
Forgot to ask you if the plates in background on your hoosier behind the lamb are Homer Laughlin? I love that stuff. Can't find it in Grand Junction, CO but sure did in KY. I've subscribed as I really have enjoyed what I've seen of your blog.
ReplyDeleteLovely room, charming details. The teapot is pretty and the lamb is a sweet touch. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so cottagey and lovely!

ReplyDeletePenny, those pear trees in blossom are so beautiful! The scent must be wonderful. Your table setting is really sweet and it's fun to find such great deals at the dollar stores.
