Is it April Already?

We had a gorgeous Easter day...plenty of sunshine and warm temps....I can't believe it is already April!
We spent the afternoon lounging around the yard... hiding Easter eggs for Kyleigh...just enjoying the day!

We had been gone for a little spring getaway and it was so good to get back home....
I have so many unfinished projects in the studio...I need to get busy!


We have been busy cleaning the front porch, it gets so dirty during the winter!

One of our first projects this spring is to get the wood floor on the front porch painted...
I have added some spring touches around the yard...

Here is one of the vignettes that was on the front porch last spring.....

    Glad you had a wonderful Easter, Penny! Oh, your outdoors areas are just gorgeous! I love all your sweet spots! You're making me want to spiff up outside too. Now where can I find some of those cute thingys you have! :)

    Penny,
    Your yard and porches look so beautiful!! I am envious that you have warm temps. that you can get outside to "play"!!
    It rained most of yesterday even though they predicted that the rain would start after 6pm. WRONG!!!
    And today is no better. 48 degrees, rain and sleet off and on and a cold wind!! Still does not feel at all like Spring here.
    Now that the major Holidays are over, I am looking forward to putting the house back to normal, whatever that may be . I will do some decorating for the Patriotic Holidays that the Summer brings but I am looking forward to seeing something, anything bloom in the back yard and to getting the front porch and back patio decorated for the Summer . But I think that is a few weeks away yet the way the weather is going here. Below average temps. are predicted all week here...... Boo Hoo!!

    I love your bird houses and the way you have them displayed. Everything is so very pretty. I would never leave the front porch.
    I have been working in my garden getting in order before we get our HOT weather.

    I can't believe it's already April either. Before you know it we'll be complaining that it's too hot. The outside of your home looks like you're ready to welcome Spring. So pretty!

    How nice that you were able to spend some time outside yesterday. Our temps weren't too bad {low 50's} but a little cloudy. I love your birdhouses and cages. They really add a nice touch to your outdoor spaces.

    I just love all your displays and the columns of birdhouses! I have some of the same iron brackets that I've been hoarding for a few years. Now I know what I want to do with them - if I can just find some posts next.

    Everything looks lovely, but the best decoration is that wonderful tree in bloom. What kind is it? I would love something like that in my yard.

      It is an ornamental pear tree....we have about 15 of them that line our circular drive. The smell is wonderful!
